I’m Gareth Welch, a professional headshot photographer from Birmingham, England with 10+ years’ experience. Over that time I’ve photographed everyone from senior leaders, actors and dancers, to first-time clients who genuinely hate having their picture taken — and I get it. Most people don’t spend their days in front of a camera, so my job is to make the whole thing feel straightforward, relaxed, and (dare I say) enjoyable.

My approach
My approach is simple: make the whole experience easy — from first enquiry to final delivery — while producing photos you’ll be proud to use. Booking is straightforward, with clear pricing, simple online contracts, and helpful guidance before we shoot so you know exactly what to expect.
On the day, I’ll guide you naturally throughout — what to do with your hands, how to stand, where to look — so nothing feels stiff or overly “posed”. The goal is a polished, professional result that still looks like you on your best day.
After the session, you’ll receive a private online selection gallery within 1 business day (or, if you prefer, you can select your favourites on the day). Once you’ve chosen, your final edited images are delivered within 3 business days — ready for LinkedIn, websites, and marketing.
